Share your work with Lexi, from Claude.
Connect Lexi to Claude once. Then say “share this with Lexi” and your artifact or document goes to Lexi, with one link your team can always open.
What it does
Lexi is your assistant at Hire Lexi. The Lexi connector lets the Claude you already use send things to Lexi when you ask: a page, a document, a deck, a spec book, notes from a conversation.
- Each share is kept as a dated copy, so you can always tell which version was shared and when.
- Each document gets one link that always shows its newest copy, so nobody has to be sent a new link after a change.
- With the Lexi plugin for Claude, an HTML artifact can keep Lexi up to date by itself: when you change it, Lexi gets the new version, and when nothing changed, nothing is sent. Without the plugin, ask Claude to share it again after a change.
- Nothing is shared until you ask. You can stop sharing anything at any time.
Connect it
On claude.ai, the Claude desktop app, or the phone app: Lexi is in Claude’s connector directory. Open Lexi in the directory, or in Claude go to Customize, Connectors, search “Lexi”, and choose Connect. Add it on the web or the desktop app first; it then shows on your phone too.
On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds the connector for the organization once. Then each person connects it for themselves.
The Lexi plugin for Claude, the connector plus the instructions that teach Claude to keep an artifact in sync by itself, is in review for Claude’s directory and coming soon. Everything on this page works with the connector alone except where it says “with the Lexi plugin”.
In Claude Code: run claude mcp add --transport http lexi https://connect.hirelexi.com/mcp, then type /mcp and choose Lexi to sign in.
When you choose Connect, a Lexi page opens. Type your work email and we email you a 6-digit code. There is no password.
Only an email that your Hire Lexi team has on file can sign in. If yours is not, the page still says a code is on its way, but none arrives; ask your Hire Lexi contact to add you. After the code, you allow Claude to work with Lexi (this step shows every time you connect), and you are back in Claude.
You only ever reach your own company. If you work with more than one company at Hire Lexi, Claude asks which one each time it matters.
Use it
- “Share this with Lexi.” Claude sends the artifact or document and gives you its link. With the Lexi plugin, Claude can also add a small line at the bottom of an HTML artifact that keeps Lexi in sync; the first time that artifact opens, Claude asks you to let it use the Lexi connector: allow it.
- “Stop sharing this with Lexi.” The link stops opening. If the artifact keeps itself in sync, Claude takes that out too.
- “What have I shared with Lexi?” Claude lists your company’s shared documents with their dates and links.
- Ask Lexi to put it on your website. Claude shares the document with your request, and Lexi passes the request to the Hire Lexi team by email. Nothing is published from Claude: the team checks with you before anything goes live.
- Everything in a project. To share every artifact in a Claude Project, add this to the project’s instructions: “Share every artifact in this project with Lexi.” With the Lexi plugin, add “and keep it in sync”.
Coming, not here yet: asking Lexi questions about what you shared (from Claude, or by text) and having Lexi answer from it. Today Lexi keeps what you share and the Hire Lexi team works from it; Lexi’s own answers do not read it yet.
The link
A shared document’s link looks like share.hirelexi.com/your-company/document-name-k3x9q2ab. The last part is a private key made for that document, so the link cannot be guessed, and it stays the same for every new version. It shows the newest copy, with the date it was shared at the top. Anyone you give the link to can open it, so send it only to people who should see it. Search engines are told not to list these pages. Once you stop sharing, the link no longer opens.
The tools
The connector gives Claude three tools:
If something does not work
- No code arrived: check the email is the one your Hire Lexi team has for you, and look in spam. You can ask for a new code after a minute.
- The artifact says “Not shared: Lexi was not allowed for this page”: reload it and allow Lexi when Claude asks.
- It says to add or reconnect the connector: open Settings, Connectors, and connect Lexi again.
- Claude says you are not on a client: ask your Hire Lexi contact to add your email.
Disconnect
Remove Lexi in Claude’s Settings, Connectors (or claude mcp remove lexi in Claude Code). To have what you shared deleted, see the Lexi for Claude section of our privacy policy.
