1. Who we are

These terms are offered by Mac Technologies, LLC (“Mac Technologies”, “we”, “us”), 1424 Everett Avenue, Louisville, KY 40204. Hire Lexi is the name we trade under, Lexi is our AI assistant, and hirelexi.com is its website. Our company site is mattcolin.com. Contact us at matt@mattcolin.com.

By using this site, talking to Lexi, or opting in to Lexi’s text messages, you agree to these terms.

2. Using the site and Lexi

• You may use this site and talk to Lexi to learn about our services and to prepare for a call with us.
• Do not use the site or Lexi to break the law, to send anything harmful or abusive, or to try to break, overload or copy the service.
• Lexi is an AI assistant. Its answers can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important before you rely on it. Nothing Lexi says is legal, tax, financial or medical advice.

3. Client services

Paid work for Hire Lexi clients is governed by the written agreement signed with each client. If that agreement and these terms disagree, the agreement wins.

4. Lexi text messaging (SMS) terms

• Program name: Lexi, by Mac Technologies, LLC.
• What the program is: Lexi texts Hire Lexi clients (business owners and their staff) who have opted in. The messages are Lexi’s replies to the questions a client sends about their own business (for example their leads, reports and reminders) and notices about their Hire Lexi account. We do not send marketing messages.
• How you opt in: by checking the text message box when you add your mobile number to your Hire Lexi account, or by texting the Lexi number, +1 (502) 586-7834, from the mobile number on your account. The exact consent step is shown on the SMS opt-in page. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
• Message frequency: Message frequency varies, based on the conversation.
• Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
• To stop: reply STOP to +1 (502) 586-7834 at any time to cancel. You will get one message confirming you are unsubscribed, and no more messages after that. Reply START to join again.
• For help: reply HELP, or email matt@mattcolin.com.
• Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Privacy: Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent collected for Lexi text messaging are not shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Read the full privacy policy.

5. Your information

What we collect and who handles it for us is described in the privacy policy.

6. No warranty, and limits on liability

The site and Lexi are provided as they are and as available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using them, and our total liability for the free site and Lexi is limited to one hundred US dollars.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we change this page and the date at the top. For text messaging, we will not change what you agreed to receive without asking you again.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA.
